 REVISED SYLLABUS FOR STD 9 TO 12 

        Matter of sending the details of the revised syllabus of Std. 9 to 12 for the academic year 2020-21.  According to the above subject and context, in the current situation of COVID-19, direct educational work has not been possible by inviting students to schools. 

 REVISED SYLLABUS FOR STD 9 TO 12 

         As per the guidelines of the Government, the educational work of the students is going on through ‘Home Learning’.  In order to reduce the stress of students in the current situation, as per the details received with the approval of the Government, for all the secondary and higher secondary schools recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, only the academic year 2020-21 is sufficient.  Improvements are made.  

        Questions on the subjects of Std. 9 to 12 subjects which have been omitted from the syllabus for the current year should not be asked in school as well as board examinations, but the educational knowledge of these issues should be imparted to the students by the schools.  So as not to harm the students academically in the future.  Please send the above details to all the government, grant-in-aid as well as self-reliant secondary and higher secondary schools under your jurisdiction.

         How children learnPre-active period: – This period starts from 1 ‘or 2 years and lasts till the age of 3 years.  This can also be considered as the pre-school stage.  This period can also be known as the stage of representation of symbols.  The symbolic process does not use language, symbolic play, words or symbols to denote ideas, but in the pre-operative period the child uses words to play a game like an object or an action. In this game, the child often takes on different forms.  Which relates to real life in character and shows it symbolically.  

        Delayed imitation involves engaging the child in activities that require imitation of patterns that are not available to him, such as making food, dressing a toy, etc., and other such activities.  Demonstration means transforming thoughts into actions, assimilating activities outside of this type while helping to enhance many elements of thought.  The pre-active thought period is devoid of defenses to reversible activations and concepts.  

        Children between the ages of four and five can pour the substance from a small and wide bottle into a long and thin bottle and think that the long-thin vessel contains excess substance.  Even after seeing the opposite action of this process one is not satisfied that the amount of matter is the same.
