But often the security breach is not considered and these applications prove to be dangerous apps for the user. The Google Play Store has identified 12 such apps known as Remote Access Trojans. If you have these apps on your phone, it is important to uninstall them immediately

Google Play Store has millions of apps, but some of them can be dangerous. Google regularly identifies such apps and unlists them from its store. They have a program called Google Play Protect and it identified 12 dangerous apps, 6 of which were found on the Google Play Store.

Risk of data theft
As reported by BleepingComputer, cybersecurity researchers from ESET have discovered 12 apps containing a remote access trojan, specifically called vauraSPY, used for espionage. These apps can access users’ contacts, messages, files and device location.
