Gyan Sahayak Khel Sahayak Yojana. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 recommends teaching students 21st century skills like communication, critical and creative thinking, problem solving etc. Besides this, it is recommended to teach vocational skills to the students. For this it is essential that the teachers who teach the students are also equipped with new skills.
For the overall development of students, future teachers will need teachers who have inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary skill sets in addition to literacy subjects i.e. a science graduate has knowledge of literature, a commerce graduate has knowledge of science, Vinion Presented the need for teachers with graduates having knowledge of commerce.
Such teachers should be able to teach skills like computers, vocational education, drawing, music, dance, sports, etc., which are necessary for the overall development of the student along with their literacy subject matter expertise. As the educational world is constantly changing, in the future, teachers also need to know and learn new things. Also, in the changing educational perspective, to meet the changes in the subjects and contents to be taught in the schools in the future, it is necessary to arrange the appointment of teachers in the interest of students and education, which is dynamic. As per the requirement in the interest of the students which can be changed promptly at that time and the requirement can be satisfied.
Realizing such needs and keeping in mind the ‘National Education Policy 2020(NEP)’, the Gujarat Government has implemented the “Mission Schools of Excellence” project to improve the quality of education in primary schools of the state. The main objective of this project is to enable the students studying in government and aided primary schools of Gujarat state to acquire academic qualifications up to standard.
The project aims to ensure availability of classrooms per class and teacher per class in deprived schools. This project will be implemented for the next 5 years i.e. by the academic year 2027-28 the targets set in the project have to be achieved. Mission Schools of Excellence is currently at the stage of radical change in schooling. Schools included in the Mission Schools of Excellence are setting up world-class physical and digital infrastructure and ensuring classrooms per standard. It is also imperative to ensure timely availability of teachers per class for proper and effective use of these facilities in increasing the academic achievement of students.

A committee was formed under the chairmanship of the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education by the ‘Resolution’ of the Education Department dated 22/11/2022 to deliberate on this issue. This ‘committee’ has recommended to make a new plan as part of the interim system to provide teachers per standard in such schools and as part of that system, the qualifications of teachers, selection process, age, honorarium, etc. have been carefully considered and recommendations have been made. Pursuant to this, a request has been submitted by the Director, Primary Education through the reference letter.

Khel Sahayak Yojana
Gyan Sahayak Khel Sahayak Yojana. A total of approximately 5075 Sports Assistants will be recruited on contractual basis in the Government Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools having a student strength of 300 or more in the State who have passed the “Sports Aptitude Test (SAT)” in the Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary sections.
21000/- higher honorarium will be given to the candidates on contractual appointment.
The applicants who have applied have to select online which school they want to work as “Sports Assistant” among the list of schools published by the entire Shiksha Office, Gandhinagar and prepare a list of school-wise sports assistant according to Merit cum Preference of the respective district.
Officials will be sent.
Gyan Sahayak Khel Sahayak Yojana. Both these contractual appointments will be made through the School Management Committee in the Primary Division and through the School Management Board/School Management Development Committee for Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools.
